If you are an Angry Bird fan and are looking to install the classic version of the game, then this is going to be your last chance. Angry bird developers Rovio Entertainment has announced that the classic version of the game will be removed from the Google Play Store. The Angry Birds classic version will be delisted from the Play Store on February 23. Not only this but the name of the game on the Apple app store will be changed to Red’s First Flight.

In a Twitter post, Rovie said that the company reviewed the business case of Rovio Classics Angry Birds. Now, due to the impact of the game on the wider portfolio, the brand has decided to delist the game from the Google Play Store. Currently, the Rovio Classics Angry Birds is priced at Rs 95 on the Google Play Store in the Indian market. Nonetheless, the game is free from micro-transactions, so it can be considered to be a good alternative for fans who are more into in-game purchases.

Apart from that, the franchise has free-to-play games like Angry Birds Blast, Angry Birds Dream Blast, Angry Birds Blast, Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Pop Bubble Shooter, and Angry Birds Evolution 2023. These games generate a decent amount of revenue through in-game transactions. The absence of the classic version will make people go for the other Angry Birds games available on the Google Play Store.

Furthermore, Rovio has clearly mentioned that the game will remain playable on devices that already have the game. It means that if you have downloaded the game previously or even today, you will be able to play it even after it gets delisted.
