Reliance Jio comes up with 3 brand new prepaid plans bundled with Hotstar subscription

Telecom service provider, Jio has announced 3 new prepaid plans that will come with a Disney+Hotstar subscription. The new plans cost Rs. 333, Rs. 583 and Rs. 783. These plans have been designed to let customers watch IPL matches for free because, with these 3 packs, consumers won’t have to purchase a Disney+Hotstar subscription separately.

New Plans Details

The new Rs. 333 plan includes unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMS per day, and 1.5GB daily data post which speed will be reduced to 64kbps. It has a validity of 28 days.

The new Rs. 583 plan includes unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and 1.5GB of data per day. It will remain valid for 56 days.

Lastly, the Rs. 783 plan includes the same benefits as the other 2 but there is a difference in terms of validity. It will be valid for a period of 84 days.

Jio has said that users who will be claiming their 3 months of Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription will be required to continuously be on an active plan.

There is a cheaper Rs. 151 prepaid plan which gives a total of 8GB of data but no voice calling. This one doesn’t come with a validity period and will remain valid according to your existing prepaid plan.

How to activate the Disney+Hotstar subscription?

Recharge with any of the Jio prepaid plans given above. Post recharge, you will have to sign in to the Disney+Hotstar app with the same Jio mobile number on which eligible recharge or data add-on has been made. You will receive an OTP which you will have to enter to complete sign-in. Once the process is completed, you will be able to stream content on the app.
