Reliance has held its Annual General Meeting 2023 today wherein Chairman Mukesh Ambani has addressed its shareholders and members of the board. Reliance has invested over 150 billion dollars in the last 10 years which is higher than any other corporate in India. Reliance aims to provide products and services of the highest quality at prices among the lowest in the world. It aims to make India a fully developed nation by 2047. Jio AirFiber
Mukesh Ambani announced that Jio Air Fiber will be launched on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19.
Jio Smart Home Services
Jio Chairman Akash Ambani has announced the launch of Jio Smart Home Services. It will redefine how we experience and manage our homes. Jio Smart Home Services include Jio True 5G Developer Platform.
It will include Home Broadband combined with Jio Air Fiber to provide a complete ecosystem of smart living. Jio Air Fiber will include almost all leading OTT Apps like Jio TV+, Jio Cinema and more.
Jio Home Network will also power PCs via Jio Cloud.
JioBharat 4G Phone
Jio Bharat 4G Phone will hit the market today. This groundbreaking phone will provide affordable internet access, offering a pathway for millions of feature phone users to transition from 2G. The device is now available on Amazon for purchase.
JioBharat 4G phone features a 1.77-inch TFT display and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a 0/3MP camera with LED flash and packs a 1000mAh battery. It supports UPI payments and comes in an ash black variant with support for 23 languages catering to all Indians.
Jio Bharat 4G comes with microSD card support for storage up to 128GB. It is available for Rs. 999 and supports affordable tariff plans. The cost-effective plan starts at just Rs. 123 for a 28-day period. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 14GB of data with access to Jio apps. There is an annual internet plan as well for Rs. 1234 which includes unlimited calls and a generous 168GB data.
Reliance Retail & Online
Reliance claims that it has opened 3300+ new stores in the last year covering 6,56 core square feet of retail space. Two-thirds of these stores are in tier 2 and tier 3 cities and smaller towns which is a testament to making India inclusive.
Jio Mart on WhatsApp has been a major success with a 9x growth of Jio Mart customers since 2022. Jio Mart also on-boarded 25,000+ artisans, weavers and micro-entrepreneurs.
Jio Financial Services
Reliance has introduced Jio Financial Services to accelerate the replication of India’s dazzling growth story. JFS will ensure ubiquitous offerings for both consumers and merchants, further driving digital adoption.
Besides finances, Jio is also entering the O2C business and will focus on expanding the Nita Mukesh Ambani Center for Culture and Performing Arts.
Reliance Jio Entertainment and AI
