Xiaomi has begun to tease the launch of the Redmi Pad 2, which is the successor to the Redmi Pad that was introduced in India several years ago. The teaser that has appeared online confirms that the launch date in India is set for June 5, and the Pad is being promoted with the tagline ‘Built for More’, suggesting enhancements in display size and battery longevity.

Another teaser from Redmi suggests a significant battery capacity and enhanced multimedia experience. It also asserts that the tablet will be more lightweight and compact than a laptop. Additionally, the teaser features a stylus designed for the tablet.

The global teaser for the Redmi Pad 2 reveals the tablet in two colors and confirms features such as an 8MP rear camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G connectivity. Another teaser for the WiFi version introduces an extra Violet color alongside Mint Green and Grey.

As previously stated, the Redmi Pad 2 has been listed on a European site for 199 Euros (approximately USD 227 or Rs. 19,395) for the 4GB + 128GB WiFi version, and for 299 Euros (approximately USD 261 or Rs. 22,320) for the 4GB + 256GB model.

In India, it will be sold on Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com, and offline stores after the launch.
