The Redmi Note 14 Pro series is set to launch in China on September 26 at 7 PM CST. Earlier posters hinted at major improvements in durability, boasting IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Now, we have the camera specifications for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+.
For the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, we’re looking at a major camera upgrade. It will feature the Light Hunter 800 sensor, aka the OmniVision OV50E sensor. This sensor comes with OIS (optical image stabilization) and an f/1.6 aperture. The sensor size will be 1/1.55”—pretty big for a phone in this range.

But that’s not all. This is also the first time we’ll see a telephoto lens on a Redmi Note device. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will feature a 50 MP telephoto lens with a 2.5x optical zoom and f/2.0 aperture, though there’s no word yet on whether this lens will have OIS.
Performance-wise, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 processor. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will also feature a massive 6,200 mAh battery.
Futhermore, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will feature a 1.5K OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Redmi says that it’ll be comfortable to hold with one hand. The display will be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
