Redmi 11A seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) listing; launch seems to be imminent

Xiaomi is gearing up to bring an affordable smartphone to India as Redmi 11A has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. Previously, Redmi 11A was seen on the TENAA listing, thus the new revelation gives a strong hint for its India launch. The phone will enter the Indian market to succeed its predecessor Redmi 10A. 

The arrival of the Redmi 11A appears when Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 12 lineup in China. It is widely believed that the global launch Note 12 series is imminent. But skipping again to Redmi 11A, we can discuss a few bits of information based on different leaks and rumours about the upcoming Redmi 11A.

Redmi 11A listing on BIS

The upcoming Redmi 11A has been revealed on the BIS listing with model number 22120RN86I. Though the website doesn’t divulge much about Redmi 11A, the model number resembles the TENAA leak. Also, TENAA leaks indicate the possible configuration of the alleged Redmi 11A.

Redmi 11A expected features

The upcoming Redmi 11A is leaked to feature a 6.7-inch display likely with an IPS LCD panel offering an HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to offer a waterdrop notch screen housing a 5MP front camera.

Redmi 11A could be packed with a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary depth sensor. The rear rectangular camera array also holds a place to offer a fingerprint scanner.

The detail of the processor that will be powering the Redmi 11A is still unclear. Though it could offer up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
