Realme is all set to launch the first Helio P70 powered phone, the Realme U1, in India on November 28. We already know that the new 12nm process-based chipset is a more powerful and more optimized version of Helio P60, that should bring in up to 13% faster speed, better graphics performance, and up to 30% AI execution improvement.

Helio P70 Vs Snapdragon 636 VS Kirin 710

But exactly how much better is Helio P70 compared to Snapdragon 636 or Huawei’s Kirin 710? Well, we have got hold of a new image that answers this burning question.

The image shows AnTuTu benchmark running live on Redmi Note 6 Pro, JSN-AL00a (which is Honor 8X), and Realme RMX1833. We can confirm that RMX1833 is the model number for Realme U1 that recently surfaced on Geekbench as well.

As benchmark apps like Geekbench haven’t updated their database since the launch of Helio P70, the chipset on RMX1833 was benchmarked as Helio P60.

As you can see in the image, the Realme U1 (RMX1833) scores 145021 on AnTuTu and beats Redmi Note 6 Pro and Honor 8X (JSN-AL00a) with a wide margin. The latter two are powered by Snapdragon 636 and Kirin 710, respectively. In fact, the AnTuTu score of Realme U1 is comparable to Snapdragon 660 phones.

The benchmarks don’t show a complete picture, but we can surely infer that the MediaTek Helio P70 is a promising upgrade for affordable and mid-range phones.

Other than the chipset in use, we know that the Realme U1 will have dual rear cameras and a dew-drop notch. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait much longer for the official reveal. Stay tuned!
