Realme Pad X teased to arrive with Limelight Function in India on July 26

Realme Pad X is inching closer to its Indian launch on July 26. The Chinese giant has started revealing a few key features that the Pad X will arrive with and the latest is the ‘Limelight function’ and which is the center of attraction.

Realme Pad X teases Limelight Function

According to Realme, the function intelligently follows the subject’s movements and keeps them at the center of the frame for overall better video output. Apart from that, the function also includes another feature called ‘Camera Auto Framing’ which in-turns replicates a real camera changing the focal length and rotating gimbal features.

Furthermore, the function will be available on group video calls with up to five participants. You can try it on Google Duo, Google Meet, Zoom, and a few others, and more are being added as you read it. The underlying algorithm will be responsible to handle participants on a call and accommodating someone leaving or joining the call in real-time.

For those who are uninitiated, Realme’s Limelight is similar to Apple’s Center Stage functionality.

Realme Pad X Specifications

The tablet arrived in the Chinese market earlier this year which means we know pretty much all the specs it will come up with unless Realme decides to change a few of them for the Indian release.

Talking about the Chinese Realme Pad X, it sports a Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood flanked with up to 6GB RAM and a 5GB of additional RAM that it gets from the internal storage. Pad X has Android 12-powered Realme UI 3.0 out-of-the-box. There’s 5G as well.

There’s a giant 11-inch LCD 2K display onboard. You get a 13MP primary camera at the back plus an 8MP ultrawide shooter with an FoV of 105° at the front. There’s a storage of up to 128GB with up to 512GB of expandable storage using an SD Card. Realme Pad X is equipped with an 8,340mAh battery and a 33W fast charging technology among others.

Finally, talking about the Realme Pad X pricing, is currently a mystery although there are indications that it will be costlier than its version in China.
