Realme GT 2 arrives in India with Snapdragon 888 SoC at INR 34,999

Realme finally launched the much-anticipated Realme GT 2 in India almost three months after its release in China this January. The phone was teased at MWC 2022 although it took the phone a few months to arrive on the Indian shores. A look at the specs and the price and you will feel the wait was worth it as the device is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes with an entry-level price tag of INR 34,999/-.

Realme GT 2 Price in India

Realme GT 2 in India is priced at INR 34,999/- for its entry-level 8GB+128GB variant. There’s a higher 12GB+256GB variant available at INR 38,999/- in India. You can go through Realme.com and Flipkart and check out either of the three color trims – Paper White, Paper Green, and Steel Black. The device is going on sale on April 28th at 12 pm.

Talking about the offers available, you get a massive INR 5,000 cashback on using an HDFC Bank card or EMI.

Realme GT 2 Specifications

According to Realme GT 2 specs sheet, the device is a powerhouse with a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The device comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM along with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Android 12-powered Realme UI 3.0 out-of-the-box. There’s a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate onboard as well.

It has a 16MP Sony IMX471 front camera while the rear is horned by a 50MP Sony IMX766 triple camera with OIS with macro and an ultra-wide-angle camera as the other two attachments. The battery pack mounted on GT 2 is a 5000mAh battery that should keep you going for hours at a stretch. It is flanked with a 65W fast charging tech capable of juicing the battery from 0 to 100% in just 33 minutes.

Other connectivity features include 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, A-GPS, Type-C port, and an under-the-display fingerprint scanner among others.
