Realme Buds Air 6 to launch in India on May 22 alongside the GT Series Smartphone

Realme has confirmed that it will launch the next generation TWS Buds, Realme Buds Air 6 on 22nd May. The brand is all set to bring the GT Series smartphone back to India along with which a new wearable will also be announced. Ahead of the launch, Realme has confirmed some details about the Buds Air 6.

The Realme Buds Air 6 will come with high-resolution audio which Realme claims will be the first in this segment of TWS buds. It will have up to 50dB Active Noise Cancellation and the largest 12.4mm deep bass driver. The company also claims 6-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation for the first time in this segment along with 55ms low latency.

Realme Buds Air 6 will come with an IP55 rating and pack a 460mAh battery for the case and a 58mAh battery for each bud. It will come in Forest Green and Flame silver shades. The buds along with the case weigh 46.2 grams while the weight of each earbud is 4.5 grams.

The Buds will retail online via Realme.com and Amazon where it will also be available through offline channels. Speaking about the buds, Realme said, “At realme, we have always taken pride in offering our customers products that blend innovative designs with advanced technology. Our unwavering commitment to this mission is evident in our diverse range of smartphones and AIoT devices. Continuing on this path, we are excited to announce the launch of our upcoming Realme Buds Air 6, earbuds that are set to redefine the standards for wireless audio devices in India.”

Realme has also confirmed details about the upcoming Realme GT 6T smartphone that is marking the return of the GT Series to the country.

Realme GT 6T will have a Premium Nano Mirror Design. The renders show minimal bezels and silver color for the smartphone. It will be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and will be the first phone in India to come with this SoC.

The Realme GT 6T seems like a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE that was launched in China last month. If this is true, then GT 6T will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of the camera, there will be a 50MP main an 8MP ultrawide sensor at the back, and a 32MP sensor at the front. Under the hood will be a 5500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging.

The smartphone will retail via Amazon and Realme.com when it launches.
