On September 9th, Realme is going to launch the Realme 8s 5G, Realme 8i, and Realme Pad in India. We have got plenty of details about these devices thanks to leaks and rumors on the web. And now we all are awaiting the day to see details including price and availability officially unveiled. But to add excitement to the event, Realme India and Europe CMO Francis Wong has hinted we could get some news on the Realme 9 series too on that particular day.

So as you can see, he specifically tells us about a big announcement on 9th September. And that it would be about Realme 9 as its time for the new generation to see the daylight.

That’s about it we know of Realme 9 at the moment. But, as mentioned already, we have a lot of details on the soon to be here Realme 8s 5G, Realme 8i, and Realme Pad.

Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i Features (Expected)

Realme 8s could flaunt a 6.5-inch 90Hz display. It would be the first phone in the market to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. And as given in its name, it will have 5G support. The internal machinery is likely to include up to 8GB RAM (with Dynamic RAM Expansion), up to 256GB onboard storage, and a 5000mAh battery. The charger supported could be a 33W one. The device could also sport a 64MP triple camera setup, a 16MP front camera, Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Realme 8i, on the other hand, could present a 6.59″ FHD+ 120Hz IPS LCD panel upfront. The front snapper could be a 16MP one and by the back, you could expect a 50MP triplet. Internally, the device could house MediaTek Helio G96, paired with 4gigs of RAM and 128GB of storage, a 5000mAh cell. Again, the software is most likely Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.

As for the Realme Pad, the teased features include a 10.4″ WUXGA+ – 2000×1200p display with an 82.5% screen-to-body ratio. The promotional images also reveal its USB-C port alongside speaker grilles and what seems to be either a headphone jack or a stylus slot. The device is confirmed to be 6.9mm thick and be available in at least Grey and Gold paint.
