POCO C55 with MediaTek chip and leather finish launched; Check price and availability

Poco India has just launched its budget-friendly phone named Poco C55. It comes in the backdrop of the Poco X5 Pro, launched last month in the Rs 25000 to 30,000 price range. Poco C55 price in India 

The Poco C55 is a 4G smartphone with an effective price of Rs 8,499. The Poco phone’s official price is Rs 9,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 10,999. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 10,999. The low-cost phone will be available on February 28. It comes in Forest Green, Cool Blue, and Power Black. Customers would first receive a flat discount of Rs 500 on the device, with an additional Rs 500 off on bank cards.

Poco C55 Specs and features

In terms of specs, the Poco C55 has a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel has a resolution of HD+. According to the business, the device boasts a scratch-resistant screen with an Oleophobic coating. The new Poco phone is also IP52 certified for water splash resistance. It has a leather-like stitch finish at the back, which is uncommon in the Rs 10,000 price range.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 Processor, already available in a few affordable phones. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. In addition, a dedicated microSD card can be used to expand the internal capacity. Regrettably, the device runs Android 12 on top of the MIUI 13 overlay.

A 50-megapixel dual-camera arrangement is located on the back. Portrait mode, Night mode, Timelapse, HDR mode, and other features are available on the low-cost Poco phone. A 5-megapixel camera for selfies is located on the front.
