Panasonic added a new smartphone under its Eluga series with the launch of Eluga I9. The phone is a super sleek budget smartphone by the Japanese firm that comes with a 2.5D curved screen, clearer picture quality and an eight-hour video Playback support to watch your favourite videos.
“The new generation smartphone Eluga I9 fits perfectly into the user’s hands and gives a good grip. It is a blend of great style, powerful performance, and quality entertainment experience,” said Pankaj Rana, business head – mobility division, Panasonic India, in a press statement.

Panasonic Eluga I9 Features
The budget smartphone comes packed with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and rocks on 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD (up to 128GB).
The Panasonic Eluga I9 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the company’s own customized skin atop, and their virtual assistant Arbo. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh battery, which as per company’s claim is capable of delivering 8 hours of video Playback time.
In optics, the dual-sim handset features a 13MP Auto Focus Rear Camera with LED flash and 5MP Front Camera. In addition, users can add some fun by editing pictures in different modes such as the watermark, Panorama, burst mode and various other filters to make photographs look more interesting.
The fingerprint sensor is on the rear panel and the connectivity option on the Eluga 9I include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
Panasonic Eluga I9 Price and Availability
Panasonic has priced the Eliga I9 for Rs. 7,499 for the Indian market. The phone will be available in three color options – Space grey, Champagne Gold and Blue from December 15th onwards exclusively on Flipkart.
