Oppo Reno10 Series is speculated to launch in India sometime in Q1 2023. But where is Reno 9 Series, you might ask? Well, it turns out Oppo is likely to skip Reno 9 Series in India and instead debut the next-gen Reno10 series although the reasoning behind the same is unavailable.
The folks at 91Mobiles learned about the update from tipster Sudhanshu. According to the report, Oppo will launch the Reno10 Series in India, skipping the Reno 9 Series. The latter did launch in China so it remains to be seen why exactly the Chinese maker thought about skipping an entire series. There’s a possibility that we could see the Reno 9 Series (China) rebranded as Reno10 Series in India. However, we will have to wait for some more evidence.
Oppo Reno10 Pro+ Design & Expected Specifications
We got our hands on Reno10 Pro+ design thanks to a leak. It shows a redesigned camera setup. The elliptical-shaped bump packs in three cam sensors and molds into the left side of the mid-frame. It has a “Powered by MariSilicon” branding on top signaling a midrange premium-grade camera prowess.
The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ which is the top-of-the-tier model packs in an OLED 120Hz panel. A Dimensity or a Snapdragon SoC sits under the hood paired with Android 13-powered ColorOS out of the box. A 50MP+8MP primary plus ultrawide shooter is mounted on the back panel with an unspecified periscope or telephoto sensor. On the other hand, we don’t have any information about the same.
As per the leaked Oppo Reno10 Pro+ specs, the phone is likely packed in a 4,700mAh battery supplied with 80W fast charging tech. No dates for the launch are available at the time of writing this although we are expecting the series to make its debut sometime in Q1 2023 i.e. January through March 2023.
