Oppo is reportedly working on a new tablet that will be launched in the market with the moniker Oppo Pad 2. In a recent development, the specifications and features of the Oppo Pad 2 have surfaced online via Digital Chat Station, who is a popular and reliable tipster. Details like the charging capacity, battery, and display have been revealed in the leaks. Considering the leaked specs, we can say that the upcoming offering is surely going to be an upgrade over its predecessor. Without any further ado, here we will discuss what we are going to see in the upcoming Oppo tablet.

Oppo Pad 2 expected specifications

The Oppo Pad 2 will ship with an 11-inch display and 2800×2000 pixels resolution. The device will also feature a 144Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The tablet will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor paired with either 8GB RAM or 12GB RAM. We can also expect to see both RAM variants at the time of the tablet’s roll out. It will run on the ColorOS 13 based on the Android 13 operating system.

In terms of battery, the gadget could get a 9500mAh battery along with 67W fast charging support. This is a clear upgrade over the Oppo Pad as it offers an 8360mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. One thing which we are already sure of is that the device is going to be a premium offering from the brand.

The only thing which we are scared of is that the offering looks quite similar to the upcoming OnePlus Pad. There is a high chance that the Oppo Pad 2 Chinese variant will be rebranded as the OnePlus Pad for the global and Indian markets. Apart from all that, all other details like pricing and sensors of the phone are still under wraps. We can get to know more about the device as soon as the launch inches closer.
