The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has revealed its Find X8 series in India. It comprises two models: the regular Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro. Both models feature an exceptionally bright screen, one of the most powerful chipsets on the market, and a versatile camera setup that can capture detailed images in every scenario. On the front, the Find X8 features a punch-hole screen with symmetrical bezels on all sides. In fact, the bezels are just 1.45mm thick on the Find X8, giving it a sleek, gorgeous look. The Find X8 Pro, on the other hand, features a quad-curved glass body with an aluminum frame (the regular model has flat sides).

Screen
The regular Find X8 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED Infinite View screen, while the Find X8 Pro flaunts a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED Infinite View display. Both models support a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. Oppo mentions that the peak brightness for both devices is 4,500 nits. Further, the screens support ProXDR technology (with support for 10-bit color) and 2,160Hz of PWM dimming.
Performance
Under the hood, both the Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro run on the Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is based on the second-generation 3nm fabrication technology. The processor has one 3.62GHz prime core, 3 Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortext-A720 cores. Moreover, it provides 35% faster CPU and 40% faster GPU performance than the Dimensity 9300 SoC.

Oppo AI Experiences
Alongside the capable processor, the Find X8 series features an advanced NPU that enables all Oppo GenAI tools, including structured layouts, summarization, and intelligence text editing. The NPU provides up to 80% faster LLM prompt performance and 35% improvement in power efficiency.
Some of the core AI-based experiences on smartphones include AI Assistant for Notes, which helps streamline content creation by looking for grammatical errors, extending content based on the topic, and easy tone customization. Then there’s Oppo Docs, an app that uses AI for intelligence file management. It can fetch key points from lengthy documents, offers six advanced rewriting algorithms to enhance word choice and structure, and facilitates cross-language translation.
Camera
While the regular Find X8 has a triple-camera setup, the Find X8 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with a quad-camera setup consisting of two periscope lenses.

Oppo has packed the cameras with multiple AI-based features, including AI Telescope Zoom, LinkBoost, Clarity Enhance, Unblur, Reflection Remover, and AI Studio. While the AI Telescope Zoom feature provides up to 120x digital zoom, the HyperTone Image Engine helps adjust the highlights and mid-tones on the RAW sensor data. There’s a Lightning Snap feature as well, which provides zero-lag shutter speed for capturing seven photos in a second.

Battery
The standard Find X8 features a 5,630 mAh battery, while the Find X8 Pro features a 5,910 mAh battery, both of which feature Silicon Carbide technology. The phones support 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging technology, which can refill the batteries in under 60 minutes. In addition, the phones also support 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
