OPPO Find X2 Pro, Find X2 Launched with + 120Hz WQHD displays, Snapdragon 865, and 65W charging

OPPO has taken the wraps off the OPPO Find X2 Pro and Find X2 phones. Originally, these Oppo flagship phones were scheduled to debut at MWC 2020, which was canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Despite the delay in the launch, there’s a lot to look forward to in the OPPO’s flagships for 2020 and they do make an impressive read. 

OPPO Specifications and features

Both these OPPO find-series smartphones boast of a 10bit 6.7-inches AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo for the first time has also introduced 240Hz touch sampling to trim input lag which could improve the gaming experience. Displays also have 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

For the Find X2 duos, OPPO relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 mobile platform along with X55 5G modem. The OPPO Find X2 comes with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. For the Pro variant, OPPO has bumped up storage to 512GB.

What really sets them apart is the camera hardware. The OPPO Find X2 Pro includes a triple rear camera module featuring 48MP Sony IMX689 primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera with support for 10x hybrid zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. The primary rear camera also has dual optical image stabilisation, contrast detection autofocus and 4K video recording at 60 fps. As for selfies, the Find X2 Pro employs a 32MP IMX616 sensor.

For the Find X2, OPPO has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with a 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens which delivers 20x digital zoom. The selfie camera is same as that on the Pro version.

Both phones run on a OPPO’s Color OS 7 which is based on Android 10. The Find X packs a 4200mAh battery while the Pro version gets a marginally bigger 4260mAh battery. Both of these phones come with proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology.

OPPO Find X2, Find X2 Pro price and Availability

OPPO Find X2 Pro price for the European nations set at 1,199 Euros (approx Rs 99,900) where the trimmed down version will retail for 999 Euros (approx Rs 83,200). In Europe, both these phones will go on sale from early May. OPPO is likely to announce Find X2 series India launch details in the coming weeks.
