OPPO’s F series has been a driving force for the brand in the Indian smartphone market. Traditionally, F series phones have focused on durability while still providing a well-rounded user experience. To continue this successful lineup, OPPO is gearing up to launch yet another derivative: the OPPO F29 Pro 5G, which is slated for an Indian launch soon.

OPPO F29 Pro Specifications

The OPPO F29 Pro is expected to be based on the OPPO A5 Pro, which is currently exclusive to the Chinese market. The phone features a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, likely paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the F29 Pro is expected to include a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Furthermore, the phone is anticipated to run the latest ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, out of the box. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP66/68/69 rating for dust and water resistance, and a substantial 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

One of the most significant upgrades on the OPPO F29 Pro is the use of an aluminum alloy frame. This adds much-needed strength and contributes to a more premium look and feel. The phone is also rumored to pass the legendary “Nut Cracker” test – and we have video evidence to support this claim.
