Oppo F21 series is apparently one of the most awaited mid-range smartphone series that has been in the news since the last quarter of 2020. The topmost variant aka the Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G was recently captured in the wild after tipster Abhishek Yadav posted the live shot on his Twitter handle teasing the phone’s look from the back.
Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G, as you can see from the leaked live shot, shows a triple rear camera with two giant sensors protruding above the back panel. There’s no camera bump here. Apart from that, there’s a USB-C port at the bottom alongside a bottom-firing speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, you can spot the black color variant which looks matte and has a bit of sandblasted texture to it.

Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G Expected Specifications
Although the leaked photo shows the phone’s back panel with the camera assembly, the specifications are yet to be confirmed. But since the F21 series has been in the news for months, Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G is expected to be based on Oppo A96 5G which was released last month.
Keeping that in mind, the phone is likely to host a 6.43-inch OLED punch-hole panel with a 1080×2400 pixels resolution. It will house a UFS 2.2 storage probably at 256GB (expect lower storage capabilities too). Oppo A96 5G arrives with a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC so it is likely that F21 Pro+ will sport it as well although take it with a pinch of salt. For context, the F19 Pro+ 5G released last year arrived with a Dimensity 800U.

The camera assembly on Oppo A96 5G is a 48MP primary plus 2MP depth dual rear camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. Since the image shows Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G with a triple camera setup at the back, we are hoping it will have an ultrawide sensor as well although again, take it with a pinch of salt.
A 4,500 mAh battery is expected on F21 Pro+ 5G with a 33W fast charging tech although Oppo could ship it with a faster speed.
There are no dates available for Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G launch yet although it is expected to arrive before the F21 series so we should get a glimpse of it soon.
