Oppo A3 Renders and Specs Leaked Ahead Of The Official Launch

There is another notched-display device coming from Oppo, and it will be dubbed as A3. But prior to the launch event, the phone got leaked in full glory on the internet revealing its design and key specifications.

The Oppo A3 was first spotted on Chinese Telecom website, and it looks more or less like the Oppo F7’s Diamond Black variant. It has a notch on the display, multi-layered metallic and glass back, but no fingerprint scanner. Instead, it relies on face recognition.

Oppo A3 Features (Leaked)

The same source also went on to reveal the specifications of Oppo A3. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 chipset built on the 12nm FinFET process by TSMC. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which can be further stretched to 256GB via microSD card.

From the front, the Oppo A3 features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) display with a slight amount of bezel at the bottom.

For photography, it features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter which is coupled with Oppo’s AI beauty recognition technology. Whereas on the rear the A3 sports a 16MP sensor and LED flash.

Other Oppo A3 features include Android Oreo 8.1-based Color OS, 3300mAh, 3.5mm headphone jack, and basic connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The phone measures 156×75.3×7.8 mm and weights 161grams.

Oppo A3 Price and Availability

When launched, the Oppo A3 will go on sale in Blue, Black, Silver, Red, and Gold color options. The phone is expected to carry a price tag of CNY 1,999, which roughly translate to Indian currency as Rs. 20,886. Oppo will soon unveil the phone in China. This sounds unusual because that’s almost same as what Oppo F7 costs in India.
