After the successful launch of the OnePlus Nord CE4, the company is now gearing up for the next launch of its most affordable smartphone series—the OnePlus CE4 Lite. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is set to launch on June 18th at 7 p.m. exclusively on Amazon, with the poster already live on their site.

The tagline, “Your all day entertainment companion,” holds true with its 6.67” Full HD+ OLED display boasting a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz sampling rate. It supports up to 2100 nits peak brightness and 1200 nits HBM brightness.

Design-wise, it closely resembles the OnePlus Nord CE4 with its flat display. The phone is expected to be a rebranded version of the OPPO K12x, which launched outside of India earlier this year.

Under the hood, OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is expected to feature the Snapdragon 695 chipset. However, it’s worth noting that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Snapdragon 695, and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 are essentially the same chipset with negligible differences. The Nord CE4 Lite will offer up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2.

Camera-wise, expect a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera will feature a 16 MP lens with f/2.4 aperture. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speakers.

Powering all this will be a 5500 mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone will be running on Android 14, based on OxygenOS 14. It will be available on Amazon and OnePlus India’s online and offline stores

Pricing is expected to range between INR 18,000 and INR 20,000. While it’s an upgrade over the Nord CE3 Lite in terms of display, battery, and charging capabilities, the Snapdragon 695 chipset means it lacks HDR support, 4K video recording, and has limitations in ISP performance. It remains to be seen how OnePlus positions this device in the market segment.
