OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G launch might happen earlier than expected as the upcoming smartphone has been spotted on the BIS website ahead of its official launch in India. The smartphone has been codenamed Ivan and is likely to be the successor to OnePlus Nord CE.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G Expected Design
The leaked renders of the phone show a rectangular rear camera module which is an expected design change over Nord CE. The rear panel is mostly plain with a volume rocker on the right and a power button on the left. The bottom edge houses the 3.5mm jack and a Type-C port.

The device has been spotted on the BIS certification site as spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma who shared the screenshot of the alleged listing. The listing shows a OnePlus device with model number IV220. “IV” here means Ivan, which is the codename for the OnePlus Nord 2 CE.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G Expected Specs
The device is expected to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC and feature a 64MP triple camera setup and a 16MP shooter for selfies. The device may offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB in-built storage capacity.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G will reportedly pack a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and run Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 on top. It will have 5G connectivity too.

The launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE is said to take place early in 2022. The recent BIS listing reveals that OnePlus might keep this smartphone exclusive to India just like OnePlus Nord CE.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G Expected Price
Some previous reports tipped that OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G could be priced between Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 28,000 which is similar to the pricing of OnePlus Nord CE. OnePlus Nord CE starts at Rs. 22,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 28,000 for the top model.
