The OnePlus Buds Z2 will be launched tomorrow along with the OnePlus 9RT in China. There was a leak of the Buds Z2 true wireless earbuds a few days back, and the retail packaging leak provided more details.
It has now been confirmed that OnePlus will release wireless buds with several features that essentially confirm all the so-far leaked and rumored specifications. Here are the full specs of the OnePlus Buds Z2.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Features
OnePlus has posted a Weibo platform where it lists seven major upgrades that the OnePlus Buds Z2 will have over the OnePlus Buds Z from 2020. In terms of the key feature, the TWS will have active noise cancellation (ANC) with a reduction of up to 40 dB. When it comes to calls, the TWS will come with three microphones.
The battery of the OnePlus Buds Z2 is also being upgraded. A comparison between the Buds Z2 and the last-gen TWS showed that the former offered 20 hours of battery life, including five hours from the buds and 15 hours from the case, while the latter offers 38 hours. The Buds Z2 will be able to achieve 94ms in low-latency mode, which should help when gaming.
Additionally, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will feature an 11mm moving coil driver unit along with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. In comparison, its predecessor featured a 10mm driver and Bluetooth 5. Furthermore, you will be able to be aware of your surroundings while listening to music with the new TWS.
The case will also have a USB Type-C port, in-ear design, interchangeable ear tips, Dolby Atmos support, and a 520mAh battery.
