Amazon released a new Kindle in India on 7th December. The device is available for an introductory price of 8,999 INR for a limited time period after which it will be sold under 9,999 INR on Amazon e-commerce store.

Amazon Kindle is one of the most popular e-readers available today. With a crisp display and comfortable reading controls, it comes under a comprehensible price range as well. The new Kindle e-reader comes with a glare-free 6-inch, 300 PPI high-resolution crisp display and a direct 16 GB high storage, this model surpasses its predecessor in every term.

Made out of 90 percent recycled Magnesium, Amazon has made this product with a reduced carbon footprint keeping the environment and device design super clean. An upgrade on the previous generation Kindle basic, the new-gen device has a better display, storage, and charging capabilities.

New Kindle Specifications

The specifications for the new Amazon Kindle e-reader follow a 6-inch display with built-in light, optimized font technology and a 16-level grayscale to reduce discomfort while reading in low-lit environments. The device is 8.0 mm thick which comes under sleek design, and the weight of 158 grams lies in featherweight category of display devices.

The battery life extends up to 6 weeks but is very clear that it all depends on your usage such as uptime, brightness level, and network connection. The device fully charges in 2 hours using a 9W power adapter. Along with this, the device supports 2.4 and 5 GHz networks with WEP and WPA2 security protocols.

With more accessibility features like VoiceView screen reader, color inversion, margin and font editing, and all that are under 10,000 INR, this device is a grabber. The new-gen Kindle is a must upgrade if you still own the previous Kindle basic, otherwise one can always opt for higher and more costly variants.
