Microsoft rolls out invites for October 6th event, New windows 10 devices on the cards

Laying dust on the rumors, Microsoft has sent out invites to various media organization for an event to be held New York on October 6. In its invite, the company says, “We have exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices.” As per the buzz in the tech world, the company is expected to reveal two flagship Windows phones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL alongside a new Surface 4 Pro tablet and Microsoft Band 2.

 If rumors are to be believed, the Surface 4 Pro could feature Intel’s latest generation Skylake processor along with Windows new biometric system “Hello”, a better battery life and much sleeker built. The company is also anticipated to release the “Microsoft Band 2” which is believed to be more productive than the existing Microsoft Band. News has it that Microsoft has reworked on it design and form to make it more elegant as compared to the original band.

The event will go live at 7:30 PM as per the Indian Standard Time on October 6, 2015. Microsoft will stream a live feed for all those who will miss out the action from the close quarters. Live streaming is available here.
