After a long lean patch Meizu has just launched its new budget smartphone Meizu M3S in India. The phone features a fingerprint sensor and flaunts a metal body.
The Meizu M3s clearly takes its design inspiration from its Meizu M3. The phone houses a 5-inch 720P HD IPS screen which is layered with a 2.5D curved glass. The phone runs on the 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core chipset coupled with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. Meizu is offering it in two memory options, 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM which can be bumped up with a microSD slot.
The Meizu M3s comes with a dual SIM hybrid slots where secondary slot can be used as a memory card slot. It supports dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It packs a 3020 mAh non-removable battery. It still runs on dated Android 5.1 Lollipop based FlymeOS.
On the camera front, Meizu has bundled a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera along with a 5MP f/2.0 front camera. Both cameras are capable of shooting 1080p videos. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the home button which also act as a navigation button.
