We often see people asking each other- Are you a Marvel fan? Very often, this is used as a category to define those people who love the movies and shows released by Marvel Studios. Marvel Studios is an American film and television production company that is part of Walt Disney Studios. It produces the Marvel Cinematic Universe films and series, based on the characters that appear in Marvel Comics.
The studio has been releasing action-packed content for 15 years now. Since 2008, there have been around 70 releases in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. All these shows and movies have been loved and appreciated with some achieving skyrocketing popularity. The studios have now laid out plans for the releases in the next few years. 1. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (movie)

- About the movie- The next Ant-Man movie is highly anticipated because it will affect the Multiverse saga. It will explore Jonathan Majors’s big bad, Kang the Conquerer. It will be a sequel to the previous Ant-Man movies that starred Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly. It would be the first film of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
2. What If…? Season 2 (show)

- About the show- The first season came out in August 2021 and had 9 intriguing episodes. This is the first animated series and the 4th TV Series in the MCU. It will explore the devastating changes that would occur in alternate timelines of the multiverse if major changes in the MCU movies took place differently. This time too, it is expected to have 9 episodes.
3. Secret Invasion (show)

- About the show- Nick Fury is getting his own TV series in the form of Secret Invasion on Disney Plus. If it follows the story of the comics, it would impact the MCU as much as endgame did. It will have 6 episodes.
4. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (movie)
- Releasing on- 5 May 2023
- Starring- Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, and others
- Genre- Action, Sci-Fi
- Director- James Gunn
- About the movie-The Guardians will be back with a new team. There will be some new characters while some old ones will leave the team. It sets Guardians off to defend one of their Galaxies, as they also protect the Universe.
5. Echo (show)
- Releasing in- Summer 2023
- Starring- Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and others
- Genre- Action, Crime
- Director- Sydney Freeland
- About the series- Echo is a spin-off from Hawkeye and is based on Marvel comics- Echo. It will follow Maya Lopez aka Echo whose past deeds catch up with her.
6. Loki Season 2 (show)

- Starring- Tom Hiddleston, Jonathan Major, and others
- Genre- Action, Adventure
- Director- Aaron Moorhead
- About the show- The first season was released in 2021 and was loved by the audiences. The show had 6 episodes and saw Tom Hiddleston reprise his role as Loki. Another 6 episodes are expected in season 2 which will be a part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
7. The Marvels (movie)
- Releasing on- 28 July 2023

- About the movie- This is a sequel to Captain Marvel. It depicts further adventures of the Captain Marvel movie and a continuation of Disney’s Ms. Marvel. It will be a part of the MCU’s phase 5 movies.
8. Ironheart (show)

- Starring- Dominique Thorne, and others
- Genre- Sci-Fi, Superhero

- About the show- It is based on the smash hit comic of the same name. It will have 6 episodes and will be a part of Phase 5 of MCU. The show will follow Riri Williams as she builds an Iron suit that could rival that of Tony Stark.
9. Agatha: Coven of Chaos (show)

- About the show- Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness in the series. It is not certain if Wanda will appear in this series or not, but since Agatha was placed under Wanda’s spell in WandaVision, she might make an appearance.
10. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse (movie)

- About the movie- Miles Morale returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning spider-verse saga, an adventure that will transport spider-man across the multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of people.

- About the movie- a spin-off from Spider-Man centering on a clairvoyant mutant named Madame Web.
12. Daredevil: Born Again (show)

- About the show- After a brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Daredevil will see a bigger return to the MCU in 2024. It will premiere early in 2024.

- About the show- There is a new Captain America in town. The 4th Captain America is set to be a little different from Chris Evans’ trilogy. It will focus on Mackie’s Captain America who took up the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
14. Thunderbolts (movie)

- About the movie- Marvel is putting together a new team and this team might not have as many morals as the Avengers. Thunderbolts will see a team of villains brought together, fighting for a cause of their own.

- About the movie- The Blade trilogy started in 1998 and was acquired by Marvel in 2012. Marvel has decided to add some more captivating stories to the franchise and Mahershala Ali will be playing the lead in this reboot.
