LG’s C1, G1, Z1 OLEDs with brighter Evo panels, HDMI 2.1 and VRR support launched in India

LG 2021 line of OLED, QNED, Nano Cell, and UHD TVs have finally arrived in India. The 2021 LG smart TVs line-up first made headlines at the CES 2021 especially thanks to new Evo OLED panels which as per LG brighter than last genration OLEDs. The LG 2021 OLED portfolio includes A1, B1, and C1 series and Z1 OLED models. Apart from OLEDs, the LG QNED Mini LED range includes 8K and 4K models under the QNED99 and QNED91 series, respectively.

LG Z1 88

The Z1 sits at the top of the LG line-up with its massive 88-inch OLED screen with 8K resolution.Like all OLED TVs, this one too has self-illuminating pixels with can be individually turned off to deliver deep black and an infinite contrast ratio.

The Z1 88 OLED TV is driven by LG’s alpha 9 Gen 4 AI Processor 8K with AI Picture & AI Sound. The premium TV has premium features too. It supports Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, HDR 10, and HLG. It also features Filmmaker Mode which tries to deliver visuals closer to maker vision. It also supports 4K at 120Hz, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) which will make it a gamer delight. The TV comes out running on WebOS 6.0. The TV comes with a new magic remote control.

The LG Z1 88 price in India is yet to be revealed. 

LG G1

LG also introduced new TVs in G1(aka gallery series). The new refreshed line-up comes with OLED Evo panels alongside the internals similar to the LG Z1 88. It is powered by alpha 9 Gen 4 AI Processor and runs on Web OS. It features such as support for Dolby Vision IQ, 4K at 120Hz, VRR and ALLM support.

The LG G1 price in India and variants have been revealed. The G1 77-inch is priced at Rs 10,99,990, 65-inch at Rs 3,99,990 and 55-inch at Rs 2,03,990 respectively.

LG C1

LG CX successor is here and it’s called C1. Design-wise, it’s not much different from its predecessor but it is better than the CX as far as performance is concerned. Again, like the G1 series, it also comes with a brighter panel, an improved processor, and better speakers. It is powered by α9 Gen 4 AI Processor with 4K with AI Picture Pro & AI Sound Pro processing.

The C1 TVs is offered in 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83-inches screen size. The 48-inch variant to retails for Rs 1,89,990, whereas the 55-inch variant is priced at Rs 1,69,990. The 65-inches and 77-inches models are priced at Rs 2,67,740 and Rs 8,99,990 respectively. the Prices of the 83-inch variant is yet to be revealed.

LG B1

The LG B1 is slightly cheaper than the LG C1. What really sets them apart is the processor underneath the hood. The B1 has an alpha 7 gen 4 processor which is not in the same league as the alpha 9 gen 4 processor. There are minor changes in the design as well.

The LG B1 comes has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, and supports Dolby Vision IQ and HDR 10 and HLG. The LG B1 comes in two screen sizes 55-inch and 65-inch which are priced at Rs 1,52,990 and Rs 2,42,240 respectively. 

LG A1

If you are not into gaming in that case LG A1 could be perfect for you. The A1 TVs lack HDMI 2.1 but other than that, it has same innards as B1. It is backed by the Alpha 7 Gen 4 processor and supports HDR 10, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos.

The LG A1 TVs come in 48-inches, 55-inches and 65-inch screen sizes. While LG is yet to disclose A1 series prices, we expect it to be cheaper than C1 and B1 series.

LG QNED TV

LG QNED Mini LEDs are also here. The company is offering QNED Line in 8K and 4K resolution under the series QNED99 and QNED91 respectively. While the press release LG shared with Smartrix has a mention of QNED TVs it hasn’t revealed complete details.
