What is LG K7i Mosquito Repellent feature?

In the past, LG has launched a number of mosquito repellent consumer durable products such as air-conditioner, refrigerator, TVs and washing machines. What LG has done here is it has added the same ultrasonic sound emitter on the phone which as per claims repels away all the mosquitoes.

Since this is done by propelling ultrasonic sound waves, there is no radiation hazard involved in the process. At one go, it can keep repelling mosquitoes for up to 11 hours.

LG K7i Features

Apart from ‘Mosquito Away’ feature, the LG K7i comes with a 5-inch on-cell display with FWVGA (854 x 480) pixels. LG ropes in a 1.4GHz quad-core chipset accompanied by 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage for powerlifting the handset. There is a dedicated microSD card slot that can hold up to a 32GB memory card.

It flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with flash. The phone comes with a 2500mAh removable battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB. LG will be offering the K7i in two hues: Titan and Black colours.
