Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor launched in India

Lenovo broadens the Legion lineup in India with AMD Ryzen 5 4000-series CPU. The company is already selling its Legion 5i, 5Pi, and 7i bearing the 10th gen Intel chips. So, now with this new model, it aims “to deliver superior gaming experience by offering an immersive visual experience and a style that fulfills the requirement of a modern-day gamer”.

Lenovo Legion 5 Highlights

At the core, the base model (which is currently available) is powered by a Ryzen 5 4600H processor (6-core, 12-threads) with clock speeds of up to 3GHz (Max Boost of up to 4GHz). This is coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti (4GB GDDR6), 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM, 256GB PCIe-NVMe SSD, and 1TB 5400 RPM HDD storage. There is a 60Whr battery (with claimed 8 hours of game time) too here backed by a 170W adapter.

On the face, you get a 15.6-inch IPS 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. Up top in the middle, there is a 720p HD webcam with a privacy shutter. Below the display, there is a ‘TrueStrike keyboard’ with white backlighting.

Other things in the mix include ‘Coldfront 2.0’ custom cooling system, Lenovo Vantage power management solution, ‘Rapid Charge Pro’ for quick charging, and Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 for a smart cooling mechanism, 2W Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos headphone support, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Legion 5 is also present in other variants with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, up to 144Hz display, and bigger memory configurations.

Lenovo Legion 5 Price and Availability

You can pick the Legion 5 in Phantom Black color from the official Lenovo site and store at ₹75,000. As an intro offer, the company is offering a free one-year subscription of Lenovo Premium Care and a year of Accidental Damage Protection which would otherwise cost ₹3,900.
