In an attempt to cash in on the Reliance Jio frenzy, many mobile companies are introducing budget smartphones with 4G VoLTE in India. Lenovo too has just joined that bandwagon and has just launched three new smartphone – A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700 in its A-Series. All of them are 4G VoLTE enabled smartphones which make them compatible with Reliance Jio network. The Lenovo A6600 price starts at Rs 6,999 while A7700 is priced at Rs 8,540. These phones will be available in in matte white and black color options.
In terms of specification, the Lenovo A6600, and A6600plus both house a 5-inch IPS displays with 720p resolution. Under the hood, the A6600 features a MediaTek MT6735P chipset clocked at 1GHz, coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Plus variant gets double the RAM as Lenovo A6600. For photography, it comes with an 8MP rear and 2MP front camera. The Phones are backed by a 2300 mAh battery and run on Android Marshmallow based Pure UI.
On the other hand, the Lenovo A7700 gets a larger 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display running on the same 1GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and Android Marshmallow. It sports an 8MP rear camera here to keep the shutterbugs happy and a 2MP front camera for selfies. For connectivity, it includes Dual-SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS. There’s no fingerprint sensor on any of these devices.
