All sorts of rumors about LeEco Le Pro 3 that were making rounds in past few weeks are finally put to dust. As expected, LeEco has pulled off the curtains from its new flagship smartphone Le Pro 3, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 Chipset and a massive battery. The smartphone goes on flash sale in China next week and will be available in Gold, Grey, and Silver color variants.
As press renders indicate, Le Pro 3 takes design inspiration from the Le Max2. It has a similar metal body with brushed metal finish, familiar antenna bands, and a rear camera hump. The only major noticeable difference is the rounded edges.
LeEco Le Pro 3 features the fastest Qualcomm processor till date, the Snapdragon 821,clocked at 2.35GHz and Adreno 530GPU ticking at 653MHz. It comes with four different memory combinations but none of them features 8GB RAM as the rumors claimed. The base variant of Le Pro 3 includes 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM variant comes next. It neither of the two feel adequate, you can certainly consider 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variants too. Once again, LeEco ignores expandable storage option.
Up front, it features a 5.5-inch 1080p in-cell IPS LCD panel with 403 PPI. A 2.5D curved glass is also layered on top. In optics, It is like any other high-end smartphone launched in 2016 (on paper). It bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, HDR, BSI, CMOS sensor with 4K recording capability. On the other hand, there is an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie enthusiasts.

The other highlight of the Le Pro 3 is this 4070mAh non-removable battery which comes bundled with a 24W fast charger. As per the company claims, it can tank up to 50 percent battery (2000mAh) in mere 30 minutes.
Like LeEco’s Le 2 and Le Max2, it also embraces USB Type-C based proprietary CDLA technology for hi-fidelity audio. It also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The LeEco Le Pro 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow baked EUI 5.8. And It supports all Indian 4G LTE bands.
