LeEco Le Max2 and Le 2 with USB Type-C Audio Launched At 22,999 INR and 11,999 INR

In a bid to further spread its reach in India, the Global Internet Company, LeEco has launched its two new smartphones – Le Max2 and Le 2 (FAQ) in India. LeEco is eyeing to woo budget smartphone users with Le 2 which is priced at Rs. 11,999, and for those aspiring a high-end experience, it showcased Le Max2 which will come in two variants. The Le Max2 4GB (base variant) is priced at Rs. 23,999 while 6GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999. Both of these smartphones will be available on LeMall.com and Flipkart via flash sales, registration for which opens on June 20th.

LeEco Le 2 and Le Max2 launched in india

Both Le 2 and Le Max2 smartphones come with LeEco’s proprietary CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology that replaces conventional 3.5mm audio jack with USB type-C powered high-quality audio output. LeEco, which is betting big on its Content ecosystem, hopes that this new technology will help facilitate better entertainment experience for Le users.

In terms of specification, the budget smartphone Le 2 is packed with 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 403ppi pixel density. Unlike the China variant, In India Le 2 is powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset coupled with Adreno 510GPU and 3GB RAM. The storage options include 32GB of onboard storage with no media expansion slot. On the imaging front, the Le 2 sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0, PDAF, Close-Loop, BSI, HDR, Dual-LED (Dual Tone) Flash. Up front, it bears an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It comes with comprehensive connectivity options like VoLTE, 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Type-C USB and Bluetooth 4.1.

It is backed by a 3000mAh battery which supports Qualcomm’s quick charge 2.0. The Le 2 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based EUI 5.6.

On the other hand, LeEco’s flagship smartphone Le Max2 gets to flaunts a 5.7-inch 2K IPS display which has a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and 515ppi pixel density. It comes layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, enthrals a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820chipset with Kryo core clocked at 2.15 GHz along with Adreno GPU. It comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

For photography enthusiasts, it comes with a 21-megapixel rear camera, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Close-Loop, OIS, BSI, HDR and Dual-LED (Dual Tone) Flash. Like Le 2, it is also capable of shooting 4K videos and slo-mos. It comes with rear-mounted ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. For Audiophiles, it supports Dolby Atmos along with CDLA.

The Le Max2 supports like VoLTE, 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Type-C USB and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity options. It is aided by a 3100mAh battery which supports quick Charge 2.0. LeEco is offering both these smartphone in Rose Gold color only.
