Lava Z61 Pro is the new ‘Made in India’ budget phone: Specs & Price

Lava Z61 Pro has launched in India. It’s been a while since a Lava phone has come to our attention. This time it has because it strikes the ‘Vocal for Local’ chord.

But sentiments aside, the phone brings modest hardware to the table for a fairly budget price tag. Here, have a look —

Lava Z61 Pro highlights

The phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a dated design compared to competition with its big bezels. You can pick the device in two gradient colors viz. Midnight Blue and Amber Red.

The forehead holds a 5MP solo selfie snapper. Flip to the back and there too, you have a single 8MP rear camera. The camera is backed by features like portrait mode, night mode, HDR, burst mode, panorama, filters, and beauty mode.

From the looks of it, a fingerprint reader seems missing. Nonetheless, you can unlock it using face unlock. Inside, it has Android software (but the version is unknown).

Lava Z61 Pro is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 2gigs of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB using a micro-SD card.

The phone runs on a 3100mAh battery. Rest, it also features WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro-USB socket, and USB OTG support.

Lava Z61 Pro is priced at Rs. 5,774. It will be available via Flipkart, Amazon, and offline stores within a week.
