20 Indian soldiers lost their lives in the recent Indo-China clash at Galwan district. To support the families of these martyrs, the Indian smartphone brand Lava has come forward. It pledges to contribute 40 Lakhs, which it aims to raise through July month’s sales.

“Being an Indian Brand, we salute the valor of our soldiers and this small contribution is our humble gratitude to the supreme sacrifice our soldiers make at the battlefield,” said Sunil Raina, President & Business Head, Lava international.

The home-grown brand will be donating Rs 2 lakh to each of these 20 families through the Army Battle Casualties Welfare Fund at South Block, New Delhi.

Meanwhile, Lava and a few other domestic companies are planning to capitalize on the rising anti-China sentiment in the country.
