The Lava Agni 3 has been launched in India, bringing some solid specifications for the price. It features a 6.78” FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is curved, giving the phone a premium feel. On the back, there’s a 1.7-inch secondary OLED display located next to the camera module, which is a unique addition.

Lava says that users can take high-quality selfies using the 50 MP rear camera, a feature branded as Agni InstaScreen. From the marketing material shared by Lava, it seems you can even take videos using the secondary display and the rear camera.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 14 and Lava has promised 3 major Android OS updates in addition to 4 years of security updates.

When it comes to the optics, it boasts a 50 MP Sony IMX766 OIS main camera with a sensor size of 1/1.56”, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and an 8 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. There’s also a 16 MP front camera for selfies. The phone can also do 30x digital zoom and dual-mode video.

The Lava Agni 3 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. Another interesting feature is the Action Button on the right side, allowing users to map various functions. The device also supports Dolby Atmos with dual stereo speakers and features a glass-back design.

The phone also has an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G support. Lava is also claiming a smooth user experience with no bloatware or unwanted ads.

They are also offering a free phone replacement service in case of hardware issues. The Agni Mitra scheme offers a dedicated service manager, free pickup and drop services, and personalized feedback after issue resolution.
