Passengers on Indian Railways can now check their PNR status and view real-time train travel information on WhatsApp. Railofy, a start-up based in Mumbai, created a new service which enables IRCTC passengers to quickly and efficiently track their journey on WhatsApp. They no longer need to download multiple apps to track train status or order food.

This new service works on the WhatsApp chatbot system to access PNR status, live train status, information on previous and upcoming stations, and other train trip details. To get all the information, you simply need to provide the 10-digit PNR number in the WhatsApp chat. IRCTC passengers can also call the 139-number railway helpline for real-time train status.

How to get a train PNR status via WhatsApp

Here is a simple tutorial on how to utilise the WhatsApp chatbot to keep track of your Indian railway trip information.

1. Save Railofy’s WhatsApp chatbot’s phone number in your contacts: +91-9881193322 or navigate to https://wa.me/919881193322 to open on WhatsApp Web on a PC.
