iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition is right around the corner and yet, iQOO didn’t specify the launch date. Cut to now, some of the key specifications of the device have leaked out giving a peek into what the phone will bring onboard once it arrives. It is tipped to draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood, a 5,000 mAh battery, and an OIS-focused camera setup. Here’s more.

iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition Expected Specifications

According to Mukul Sharma, a reputable leakster, iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition is likely to pair with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. It is the first runner-up flagship chipset right after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that has started arriving on flagship phones just now.

Moving on, we have information on the device getting its hands on 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. There’s 8GB additional RAM available as VRAM giving it a total of 24GB of RAM to play with. It remains inactive when not needed since the additional 8GB will come from internal storage.

As a flagship phone with state-of-the-art features, OIS support has been added too. There’s Android 13 running the rounds when it comes to the software side. It has iQOO-powered UI on top of Android 13 on top as the phone will release in China. The last piece of recently rumored specs is about the 5,000mAh battery that the device will draw power from. It is equipped with 120W fast charging tech that should be capable of juicing it up within an hour.

According to reports, iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition is likely to feature its OIS on a 50MP primary snapper. There’s an AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display without any curves. A punch-hole cut-out sits right at the center of the top bezel.

Finally, talking about the launch, the dates for its Chinese and Indian launch remain a mystery. There are indications that iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition could arrive on January 10 in India although we will have to wait for more information to arrive about the same.
