Ahead of the official announcement by the company, an Indian tipster has leaked the images of the upcoming iQoo 12 series in black and white colors. Although we already had a fair idea of what the smartphone’s specifications would be like, the best look we had was via some low-quality TENA renders that showcased it in the white color option. However, the new images appear to be of much higher quality and reveal much more details.

iQoo 12 Images Surface Online

Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav seems to have uploaded two images of the iQoo 12. In the photos, we can see the iQoo 12 in black and white color options. Although they appear to be a part of the phone’s promotional material, as they exhibit the phone in a stylized manner, the images reveal that the first Indian smartphone to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC could come with a boxy camera module on the rear panel.

iQoo 12 To Provide Up To 100X Zoom

The module does have a total of three camera sensors, including the most-awaited periscope lens. Further, the camera cutout also carries the words “100X tele lens,” which indicates that the smartphone, like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, could zoom into a subject all the way up to 100 times. While the phone could be using a hybrid zoom system to achieve this, the exact details aren’t known at the moment.

The camera cutout is also lined with some sort of shiny metal, details about which should also come out with the official launch. At the top spine, we can see a speaker grill, a microphone, and what looks like an IR blaster, whereas the right spine features the volume rockers (and the power button, which isn’t visible in the image). Last but not least, images have a branding of BMW Motorsport at the top left, which indicates that the company could retain its partnership with the automaker to co-brand their phones.

iQoo 12 Leaked Specifications

Other than the images, the leakster also tips the smartphone’s specifications. The iQoo 12 could come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Further, it could offer a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens for clicking images. Last but not least, the iQoo 12 could sport a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired charging.
