A few days ahead of their official launch on September 12, China Telecom has published a teaser of the new iPhone 9 showing Dual SIM slots, each with 4G VoLTE support.

The image says “The new iPhone is on the market. Double card, full network. You’re late, I’ve been waiting. Dual card, dual network, dual 4G.”

Apple is rumored to be working on a new India strategy this year, and it’s quite obvious that if Dual SIM iPhones are coming, they’ll find their way to India as well.

Marketing material from China Mobiles confirms the same as well.

2018 iPhones: iPhone 9, iPhone Xs and Xs Max Features

According to credible leaks so far, Apple will launch three new iPhones on September 12 – iPhone 9, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max.

The iPhone Xs Max will allegedly have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, the iPhone XS will have a relatively compact 5.8-inch OLED screen, and the iPhone 9 will be the only iPhone with an IPS LCD screen (6.1-inches). The iPhone 9 will also be the only iPhone without dual rear cameras.

Apple won’t be adding Touch ID or in-display fingerprint sensors to 2018 iPhones either. All of three iPhones will house Face unlock in their display notches, are rumored to include 18W fast charging support.

Another interesting feature to watch out for will be the new A12 Chipset. Even a year after its launch, Apple’s A11 is still the most powerful Smartphone SoC around, and with A12, Apple is expected to take the game to a whole new level by switching to the new 7nm Process. Apple iPhone 9 may stick to last year’s A11 Bionic chipset for cost-cutting. It’s highly likely that the new iPhones will include 512GB storage options as well.

And yes, there will be a new Spicy Orange color option as well.

Some leaked screenshots from official website also reveal that Apple will discontinue other previous generation iPhones except iPhone 8.

2018 iPhones price in India (Expected)

As per recent leaks, the price of the new iPhones should range between $700 and $1000. We are guessing these figures are optimistic and the actual price might be higher, especially in India.

  • iPhone 9 –  $700 (Roughly Rs 50,000)
  • iPhone Xs – $800 (Roughly Rs 58,000)
  • iPhone Xs Plus/ Max – $999 (Roughly Rs 72,000)
