Like every year, Apple is expected to host an iPhone launch event in September, and this time, the iPhone 16 series will steal the show. As we inch closer to the expected event, rumors and predictions about the iPhone 16 lineup keep surfacing on the internet. The most recent tip concerns the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus colorways.

iPhone 16 Could Be Available In Five Colors

According to an image shared by Sonny Dickson on X (formerly known as Twitter), the iPhone 16 could come in five new colors. The image apparently showcases the iPhone 16’s dummy units, revealing the handset’s overall design and finishes. While the redesigned camera array happens to be the highlight, the dummy units also have the Capture button on the right frame.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could come in five new colors: White, Black, Blue, Green, and Pink. In our opinion, the colors are much darker and saturated than those on the iPhone 15 series. Further, the green and pink appear too dull to be featured on a new iPhone. Anyway, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also mentioned these colors in his prediction, adding more conviction to the leak.

New Camera Lineup And Capture Button To Remain Key Highlights

There’s a chance that the actual units will feature a different material than the dummy units, but that’s the topic of discussion for September. For now, multiple sources suggest that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will feature a Capture button on the right side and an additional 2GB of RAM over the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. They should also feature the A18 Bionic chipset (with possible integration of Apple Intelligence) and an Action button instead of the mute switch.
