Infinix Zero 40 5G India Launch Date Confirmed: AI Features Tipped

Infinix recently launched the Infinix Hot 50 5G smartphone in India which starts at a price of Rs. 9999. The company has also confirmed that it will launch Infinix X Pad in the country. Before that happens, the brand has announced the launch date of one more smartphone, Infinix Zero 40 5G. It launched in Malaysia in August 2024 and is arriving in India on 18th September. The successor to Infinix Zero 30, this one will come with AI features as well. It will retail via Flipkart.

Infinix Zero 40 5G: Details

Infinix Zero 40 5G is confirmed to arrive with Generative AI features which the brand calls Infinix AI. These include an AI Eraser to remove unwanted objects from your pictures, an AI Wallpaper for creating customized wallpapers, and an AI Cut-Out Sticker that will help create stickers from images.

The AI features will also include AI Translate for real-time translation and AI Text Generator for making content. AI Vlog and AI Image Generator are also expected to be a part of the AI set.

Infinix Zero 40 5G: Specs (global version)

Since the smartphone has been announced globally, we do have an idea about what its specs will be. The Infinix Zero 40 5G is powered by MediaTek Helio G100 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It sports a 6.74-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness.

The smartphone runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 with two years of promised OS upgrades and three years of security updates. At the back is a 108MP main sensor with a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 50MP selfie camera at the front and under the hood is a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired and 20W wireless charging speed.

Infinix Zero 40 5G: Expected Price

Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced at RMD 1699 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It amounts to around Rs. 32,800 so Indian pricing will be along similar lines.

Infinix Zero 40 5G will come in Rock Black, Moving Titanium, and Violet Garden colors.
