The upcoming Infinix Smart 5 will be a successor to the Infinix Smart 4 Plus which the company allegedly sold to record numbers in the last year. Infinix has not revealed any of the features but the teaser banner has few details to share. The product tagline hints at a big battery size.

If speculations are to be believed, Infinix Smart 5 could be the rebranded version of Infinix Hot 10 Play that went official early this year in the Philippines. The rumor got waves as the Hot 10 Play received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification in the same month. And we are well aware of Hot 10 Play features.

Highlights of Infinix Smart 5 aka Hot 10 Play

Infinix Smart 5 could feature a 6.82-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch. The phone may get a dual 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. As far as the processor is concerned, Smart 5 might be home to MediaTek Helio G25 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It may juice power from a massive 6000mAh battery with a 10W fast charge support. The device will run on Infinix’s own XOS 7.0 interface based on Android 10 Go Edition.

The Infinix Smart 5 specifications will get clearer on February 7. It’s likely to be an entry-grade phone.
