Infinix Note 5 with AI Camera, Android One participation launched in India: Specifications and Price

Infinix has launched an interesting affordable phone, Note 5, flagging off Android One participation for its phones. Key highlights of the phone include AI rear cameras, 5.99-inch full HD+ display,  4,500mAh battery unit with support for fast charging, a glass-finish back panel.

Infinix has pitched its latest phone against similarly priced phones with analogous specifications, like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Honor 7A.

Infinix Note 5 Features

Since this is an Android One phone, you get pure Android 8.1 Oreo software certified by Google along with an assurance of timely update for a period of 2-years.

The new smartphone comes with 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 display with 2160 x 1080 resolution and 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. Its display is protected by a 2.5D curved glass. The rear panel of the Infinix Note 5 features 10-layer coat of nano-chrome particle, and reflective edges.

A 2.2GHz clocked MediaTek Helio P23 SoC powers the phone, paired with ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU that looks after its graphics. The phone is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage options. The phone also features a dedicated slot for microSD card with expandable capacity up to 128GB. The phone features a 4,500mAh fuel centre, with support for fast charging.

As for Optics, Infinix Note 5 carries a single 12MP (f/2.0 aperture) rear camera, with assistance from dual-tone LED flashlight. A 16MP selfie shooter with soft LED flash is present as the phone’s front camera. Additionally, the rear camera features AI-enabled auto scene detection as well as portrait mode, and Google Lens integration. Infinix claims that its front-camera has AI Beauty mode in it, that will be capable of spotting 255 facial points and capture detailed selfies.

Connectivity options on board include dual VoLTE support, Bluetooth v4.2, WiFi 802.11ac, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, micro USB port, and USB OTG. Sensors onboard feature proximity, light, Compass, hall, and a dedicated fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Infinix Note 5 Price in India

Infinix Note 5 will go live for sale at 12 PM on August 31 via Flipkart. The company has priced Note 5 at Rs 9,999 for its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant costs Rs 11,999.
