Huawei has finally updated its smartphone portfolio with a new flagship device – Honor 7. The 16 GB variant of the device is listed for Rs. 22,999 on Flipkart and will start shipping from October 15. With this new phone, the Chinese company will be hoping to repeat the success which it received` through Honor 6 and the 6 Plus.
At the heart of this Huawei Honor 7 phone is a HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.2GHz + four Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz) along with ARM’s Mali-T628 GPU. The android based phone sports a 5.2-inch 1080p panel.
On the imagining part, it comes with a 20MP Sony IMX230 sensor as it primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 6-lens module, and a dual-LED flash. On the front end, an 8MP 26-mm wide-angle fixed focus camera with flash is present for better selifes. A fingerprint sensor is placed right beneath the rear camera.
At the same event, Huawei also showcased its water resistant Honor Band for health enthusiasts. The band is capable of keeping a track of sleeping pattern as well as calorie burns. According to the manufacturer, the device will last for 3 days on a single charge. Honor Band Z1 will be available for Rs. 5,499.
