HP Victus 16 gaming laptop lands in Amazon India Store

HP Victus 16 gaming laptop launched in India

Victus by HP was originally announced in May of 2021. And a few months later, the company has launched a new Victus gaming laptop in India. The HP Victus 16 is part of the Amazon Prime Day Sale which started today. Also, note that there are four AMD Ryzen variants of it that are presently out on pre-order.

Price & Availability

HP Victus 16 will come in three colors including silver (mica silver), blue (performance blue), and white (ceramic white). These gaming laptops of HP have been launched in four SKUs which you can pre-order from today and will actually be available from August 20.

HP Victus Gaming Laptop Specifications

The two variants of the HP Victus 16 have a 16.1-inch full HD+ display with 250 nits brightness, 137 ppi. Both of them run on 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 5 5600H chipsets. While the rest of the two high-end variants have a 16.1-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, and low blue light. In both these models you will see 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 7 5800H chipset.

As far as graphics cards are concerned, in the basic variant, you are given NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. The variant above that will be available with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. In the next big variant, the Ryzen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU and in the top-end version, you will get NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card.

Victus by HP provides you with a proprietary Wide Vision HD webcam and a 4-cell 70Wh battery that can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes with 150W fast charging. The laptops ship with Windows 10, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 edition, Wi-Fi 6 (1×2), and Bluetooth 5.2.

HP says this is “built from OMEN DNA, created for mainstream players; OMEN offers breakthrough hardware and software experiences with a more sustainable PC design made with ocean-bound plastics and recycled materials”. These laptops are expected to square off against Dell’s G-lineup.
