GoPro HERO9 Black with 23.6MP sensor and 5K video support launched at ₹49,500

GoPro Hero9 Black is the new action cam in the market. It brings upgrades in several areas over the predecessor. You get a larger 23.6MP resolution sensor that can shoot 20MP stills and record up to 5K videos. It also boasts better video stabilization, a bigger colorful display (both front and back), along with more battery life.

GoPro Hero9 Black highlights

As already mentioned, it comes equipped with a 23.6MP Image Sensor which produces 20MP photos and videos in 5K30, 4K60, 2.7K120, 1440p120, 1080p240, and more. These clips are aided by HyperSmooth 3.0 stabilization and in-camera horizon leveling.

Additionally, you get to capture —

You can also replace the default lens cover with Max Lens Mod (for a wider FoV), Light Mod, Display Mod, and Media Mod to try different compositions.

The new GoPro also sports a much useful 1.4” front color display with live preview and status modes. Even the rear screen is bigger at 2.27-inches.

If you want to touch, you can interact using voice. It supports 14 commands in 11 languages, 6 accents. There are 3 microphones with enhanced wind-noise reduction.

GoPro Hero9 packs a 1720mAh battery that vaunts 30% more longevity.

Other things included in the mix are Stereo + RAW audio, Larger speaker for improved audio playback, Built-in folding mounting fingers, up to 10m water resistance, improved cold-weather performance, micro SD slot, and a USB Type-C socket.
