Later tonight, Google will be hosting its annual developer’s conference I/O 2024 in California. However, before that begins Google Pixel 8a smartphone will be up for sale in India today. Google launched the Pixel 8a member of its Pixel 8 Series last week which comes with a similar Tensor G3 chipset, dual rear cameras, AI features, and more. Google Pixel 8a is the brand’s new affordable alternative to flagship Pixel 8 Series devices- Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8a comes in the following storage configurations in India-
- 128GB storage- 52,999
- 256GB storage- 59,999
The sale went live early morning today at 6:30 AM via the e-commerce portal Flipkart.
As part of first sale offers, Google is offering an instant discount of Rs. 4000 for ICICI Bank credit card holders. There are no-cost EMI options as well along with exchange offers of up to Rs. 9000.
Google Pixel 8a comes in Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Aloe shades, and those who pre-order Pixel 8a will get Pixel Buds A-Series for Rs. 999.

Google Pixel 8a: Specs
Google Pixel 8a is powered by a Tensor G3 chipset along with a Titan M2 security coprocessor. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM along with 128GB and 256GB storage options. The smartphone sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, Pixel 8a packs a 4492mAh battery with 27W charging and wireless charging support as well. In terms of camera optics, there is a 64MP wide and a 13MP ultrawide sensor at the back. At the front is a 13MP selfie camera. Additional features include Magic Editor, Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser, and an Ultra HDR Mode as well.
