BYD Launches Sealion 7 Dynamic in India at ₹41.90 Lakh, Its Most Affordable Trim Yet

BYD has added a new, more affordable option into its Sealion 7 (review) lineup: the Dynamic variant. It sits as the electric SUV’s third trim, with an introductory price designed to widen the badge’s reach in the premium EV segment.

Sealion 7 Dynamic: Price & Availability

The Sealion 7 Dynamic arrives at an introductory price of ₹41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). undercutting the Premium and Performance trims. This gives BYD a lower entry point into its premium electric SUV range. Buyers get four color options: Atlantis Gray, Cosmos Black, Aurora White and Shark Gray.

The launch rides on BYD’s ongoing Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD festive campaign. It has been live since August 1, 2026. As part of the festive offer, Dynamic buyers qualify for a free 7kW home charger (with free installation), a 10-year extension on roadside assistance cover, and a 10-year or 1.5 lakh km warranty on the LFP low-voltage battery.

Sealion 7 Dynamic: Key Specifications & Features

Power comes from a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, which is BYD’s in-house lithium iron phosphate pack. It is good for an NEDC-rated range of 520 km and a 0-100kmph sprint in 7.3 seconds.

The car sits on BYD’s e-platform 3.0, carries the brand’s Ocean Aesthetics design language, and features Cell-to-Body construction, Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof, and a rotating touchscreen infotainment display.
