Now just when the biggest event of mobile launch, MWC 2015, was on, Apple had reclaimed its throne with its new inductees in the smartphone world, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iWatch has been packed up with some great features, but it has no less rivalry already to deal with. Here are the top 5 rivals which can give Apple iWatch a tough time.

Pebble Time Smartwatch

The Pebble Smartwatch is unanimously the crowd favorite. It set a new record for crowd source funding on Kickstarter while still in the concept phase and its popularity has not since waned. The strength of this watch lies in its technical specs, in its ability to be upgraded through firmware and completed through software.

Sony Smartwatch 2

This is the most recent addition to the list to wearable gear. A true contender given the current state of smartwatch technology. If this watch was not limited to Android phones, and was compatible with iOS and the iPhone, it would be ranked even higher.

Samsung Gear 2

After testing the market with the Galaxy Gear, Samsung launched the Gear 2 smartwatch, which runs on the company’s Tizen OS. This device has a dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, a Super AMOLED screen and a 300 mAh battery. With these specs, it has been a real competition.

LG G Watch

LG joined the smartwatch party bringing its first wearable smartwatch, which has a bigger battery (400 mAh) than the Gear Live. It also costs about Rs 1,000 less than the Gear Live and this price is even lesser than that of Samsung Gear 2. This coud have gone up the list if it were a pretty hefty on design details.
